JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Purpose

The HR Executive  is responsible for delivering a proactive, flexible, high-quality, and comprehensive HR service to all employees.  Responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of HR functions, with a particular emphasis on recruitment.

The HR Executive will manage the end-to-end recruitment process to ensure the timely and successful hiring of qualified talent to ensure that AirNav Ireland continues to build a skilled, diverse, and engaged workforce.   Key focuses include leveraging innovative sourcing strategies, promoting a positive candidate experience and maintaining compliance with employment regulations and company policies. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job advertisement/posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding.
    • Source potential candidates, evaluate their qualifications, and coordinate the selection process to secure the best talent that will contribute to the Company’s success.
    • Ensure terms and conditions offered are in line with approved levels.
  • Candidate Sourcing:
    • Use diverse sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, networking events, recruitment fairs and where required recruitment agencies.
    • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Stakeholder collaboration:
    • Liaise with departments/divisions where vacancies exist to understand precise job requirements and candidate profiles.
    • Demonstrate best practices for interviewing and candidate selection
  • Candidate experience:
    • Ensure a seamless and positive experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
    • Communicate professionally and promptly with candidates to maintain engagement.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure recruitment practices comply with legal and regulatory standards, including equal opportunity and diversity policies.
    • Manage and maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities and documentation.
  • HR Metrics and reporting:
    • Track recruitment metrics such , number of applications received, number of candidates shortlisted, duration of recruitment process and details of any candidates to be placed on a panel, if required.
    • Prepare regular reports and analytics to evaluate recruitment effectiveness and areas for improvement.
  • Branding:
    • Promote AirNav Ireland as an employer of choice through innovative campaigns and engagement with potential candidates.
  • Providing support to other areas of HR including Senior HR Business Partners where required
  • Other duties as may be assigned, where appropriate.

 

Reports To:            Employee Relations Manager

Direct Reports:      none

Relationships

Internal:                           

In addition to direct reporting relationship above the postholder is required to liaise with all personnel and Directorates in the Company in particular with the Senior HR Business Partners.

External:                          

The postholder is required to liaise with all appropriate external bodies, providers, suppliers, and companies.

 

PERSON SPECIFICATON

Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience & Skills

Essential:

  • Appropriate 3rd level qualification in Human Resource Management
  • At least five years proven experience in recruitment/talent management.
  • Experience in HRIS systems and LinkedIn recruiter
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Irish employment law and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and organisational skills with  the ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously.
  • Resilient and ability to handle dynamic recruitment challenges in a fast-paced regulated environment.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Strong team orientation.
