Compliance Monitoring & Quality Audit Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Purpose

To assist in the carrying out of internal compliance and quality audits and other reviews as set out in the Compliance & Quality Monitoring annual oversight work programme. 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and/or assist in the preparation, management and execution of audits to ensure compliance with applicable regulation, standards and internal requirements.
  • Manage and recommend improvements to the internal compliance monitoring reporting system to ensure accurate capture of NCRs and Recommendations.
  • Review submitted root cause analysis for corrective action plans associated with NCRs to ensure they have been completed effectively and ensure they are closed appropriately.
  • Assist with the preparation of data, charts and information in support of reporting requirements including the Compliance Review Board and Management Review Board meetings.
  • Provide feedback to quarterly compliance meetings to ensure continuous improvement of the Compliance Monitoring Function.
  • Maintain and management up-to-date records of audit reports (internal and external) and NCRs/Recommendations where applicable.
  • Maintain and manage all AirNav Ireland records management oversight activity.
  • Maintain and manage records of all applicable ATM/ANS International and National regulations.
  • Responsible for the administration and support of the EuroControl CARMA application relevant to AirNav Ireland.
  • Perform safety surveys in line with ANSP procedures.
  • Complete any training required to ensure the role of Compliance Monitoring & Quality Audit Executive can be carried out effectively.
  • Attend national and international fora and workgroups as required.
  • Support the Safety Directorate team as required.
  • Perform any other duties appropriate to the role that may be assigned.

Relationships

Internal:                 In addition to direct reporting relationship at 3.3 above the post holder is required to have close liaison with all personnel and Directorates in the Company.

External:               The postholder is required to liaise with all appropriate external bodies, providers, suppliers and companies. 

 

PERSON SPECIFICATON

Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience & Skills

          Essential:              

  • Audit training, qualification and/or relevant experience.
  • Good analytical and IT skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to be able to work independently and as part of a team.

          Desirable:

  • Relevant experience in a similar auditing/ oversight role.
  • Experience of working in a regulatory environment.
  • Experience in an ATM/ANS environment or Commercial Aviation Sector.
  • Understanding and knowledge of ICAO and EU/EASA regulations as they apply to ATM/ANS.
  • Quality Management Systems qualification and/or experience.
  • Safety Management Systems qualification and/or experience.
  • Change/project management experience.
  • Experience in preparing and/or delivering training.
